Description

A pre-mixed 2x formulation of SharkaTAQ Hot Start DNA Polymerase requiring only the addition of primers, template and H2O. Enzyme supplied in an inactive state that has no polymerase activity at ambient temperatures due to a novel patent pending method. Master Mix format reduces pipetting steps and risk of contamination, while increasing reproducibility and throughput. Provides high specificity, yield and sensitivity for use in everyday PCR applications.

Storage & Stability

  • Stable for at least one year at -20°C.
  • Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
  • Aliquot into separate tubes and store at –20°C.
  • Storage at 4°C is recommended only for periods of up to 1 week.
